Our structure

How our housing and care services are organised.

People who come to live with us may receive both accommodation and care or support. Those responsibilities can sit with different organisations, so it is important to use the legal names shown in each person's care agreement and tenancy or licence.

Supported Living Services Ltd and SLS Housing Association are separate legal organisations. Supported Living Services Ltd is registered with CQC for the regulated activity Personal care. SLS Housing Association is a registered community benefit society. Registration of the Housing Association does not by itself make it the landlord of every property: the resident's signed tenancy or licence identifies the legal landlord and determines the applicable housing complaint and regulatory route.

Legal information

The care provider

Supported Living Services Ltd

A private company registered in England & Wales (Company No. 10359397). CQC Provider ID 1-9711750185.

What it does

  • Provides personal care and support to residents.
  • Employs staff for care and support roles; the proposed service confirms the current workforce, competence and training arrangements.
  • Carries on the CQC-regulated activity Personal care and is inspected by CQC for that activity.
  • Generally holds the data controller role for care and clinical records unless a specific privacy notice says otherwise.

What CQC registration covers

The registered activity is Personal care. CQC does not regulate the housing and its registration should not be read as applying to every kind of support. See the CQC registration record (opens in a new tab).

The housing organisation

SLS Housing Association

A community benefit society registered under number 9778 on 15 May 2026. The resident's tenancy or licence identifies the legal landlord and the exact responsibilities that apply.

Housing responsibilities

  • May provide or coordinate housing services where it is named or authorised to do so.
  • The signed agreement determines which organisation is responsible for rent, repairs, tenancy or licence matters.
  • Routes housing complaints and data requests to the responsible organisation.

Registration and membership checks

The FCA Mutuals Public Register (opens in a new tab) verifies its community benefit society registration. We have not verified registration with the Regulator of Social Housing or membership of the Housing Ombudsman Scheme.

How this affects you

For most residents, day to day, this structure makes no practical difference. It does matter in a small number of important situations:

If you want to complain

Our Complaints policy uses one internal contact route. For housing matters, any external route depends on the legal landlord named in the tenancy or licence and whether that landlord is a member of the Housing Ombudsman Scheme.

If you have a data protection question

The website operator controls website enquiry data. Care and housing records may have a different controller identified in the relevant privacy notice. See our Privacy Policy; if you are unsure, we will route your request.

If you are referring someone to us

Our referrals team handles care and support enquiries and explains the housing arrangements as part of the process. Use the single referral form and we will guide you through the next steps.

If you are a partner or supplier

Do not rely on the SLS brand name alone. The contracting document must name the legal party, its address and the responsibilities it has accepted.
